Racing Stripes, maybe?? Help -- opinions wanted!!

I dunno which looks better, personally Im pretty sure if I do decide to get racing stripes they wont look like this exactly... but ive got 3 main choices, a dark red, a very dark grey, almost like ghost flames, or white... I dont think white will look all that great, so ive pretty much ruled that out... But what do you guys think?

I say if you are going to get racing stripes to go with the dark gray, I'd almost like to see it stay black though.. but just go with whatever you like.

The main factor in this choice for HUGE racing stripes is because the car has had immense scratches on the hood, the roof and trunk lid of the car, and these stripes would cover up 99% of that damage. that and th nose of the car (around the grill area, has been water spotted since the day I got it), whoever had this car before me probably never washed it and let it sit in all kinds of weather, rain, sleet, snow, hail, dust storms, all kinds of crazy shit I bet.

I would go with the gray.

I would also start them at the nostrils and have them arc out to follow the lines on the hood and widen at the rear of the hood.

/\ :lol: -- Yea, I would have the stripes go with the body lines, just so it looks like they belong there. Alos, the stripes would have to be vinyl so I could rip them off when I inevitably get tired of them. Im thinking I want an even darker grey than what is shown in my half-arsed chops.

i say grey, but if you can, paint them on. vinyl wont look at all liek your chops. this is from a distance and its my neighbors probe. here it looks okay, but it faded quickly.

paint = expensive. if i wanted to paint anything I would just get the entire car repsprayed black met. -- I wish I had that kind of cash, oh man, then maybe I would get the entire thing painted then have them paint on some nice ghost stripes, too.
