Is there a difference in the 3400 between 99-2003 and 2004? Will gasket sets from the 99-2003 fit on the 2004? Thanks.

lol. yes to what? the difference in engines or yes to the gaskets fitting. Also does anyone know if the EGR changed in anyway between the years? I looked at my sister's '04 GAGT and the connectors for the EGR valve looked a little different but still both had five wires. I was lead to believe that the 96-98 EGR is the same as the 99+ EGR. Both are linear
and not digital. I hope nothing bad happens when I plug it in... you guys should have a engine swap section!!! i'm so excited about the swap! ill be sure to post pictures. Also does anyone think it is a bad idea to replace all the gaskets in a '04 motor and tighten the LIM to the new torque specifications? I am thinking what the hell since it is on an engine stand, it will be easy. Thanks for the help!
