Im putting lights in to shine in the footwells of the car. I had some left over green from the ones i put in my tempo before and put those in to see how they would like. Now i want a change in color to either red or blue. My car is red all the gauges are red but then my pioneer headunit shines blue. What color would be best.

I would go with red. You can get red CCFL's (Cold Cathode Flourescent Light) on ebay for $8 shipped. That gives you two 12" light tubes and one invertor.

Or, you could do what I'm about to do... I wired up 4 series of 6 leds and plan to put them in the panel right under the dash, pointing towards the foot area... I'd go with red, btw. :)

I've got to vote red also for pontiac heritage. The dash is red and a nice orange red kit under the dash would be sweet. Blue is okay, but red would match the car in total. The head unit should be red also, but you do what you can.

i had the option of a Sony Xplod head unit or Pioneer. The Sony sucked in comparison to the pioneer so i took quality over looks

i say blue, cause i like blue, but red to match your ride chode... i dont like neons, so id go led... true deep color, no pinkish BS... do it right w/ some superflux (4-pin) led's w/ a min of 70ma drive current capability and it will rock, plus you wont need to many...

I voted blue just to compliment the HU...

I'd go red otherwise.
