Personally I would go 17 just because I like more rubber on the road.

can always get a thicker tire with 18's. Won't be able to lower the car tho, possible rubbing issues. Id go with 18's and a Eibach drop to keep the ride feel comfortable and give the car a nice aggressive stance

Don't get tiny tires and wheels to lower the car. Our cars have GIANT fender wells as it is.

ive got 18s with 225 series tires and my car is lowered with H&Rs, the most that lowering springs will lower the car. my tires NEVER rub. i know guys that have 235 series tires on eibachs with no problems. im gonna get 235s as soon as my tires are ready for replacement (or when i can afford it).

I'd go with 17s. check out this site maybe you can get some idea of what kind you want to buy. But good is not cheap, its worth it though. http://turtlewaxtour.com/gwt_main.html

If you 'lower' you car by putting on tiny wheels and tires not only will it look ghetto fabulous but it will also have negitive effects on your traction control and ABS.

Buy springs if you want to lower your car.

Ok i have a question that has been hounding me since i joined this fantastic forum. If you get bigger tires how does one compensate for the speedometer?? What i mean is does your speedometer truly tell you how fast your are going if you do this??

That guide will let you know exactly how close your speedo will be to stock. I have 225/40/18 and and when my speedo says I'm doing exactly 60mph, I'm actually doing 60.1mph. So with this setup, I'm pretty much almost right at about the stock speedo.

If I were you, I'd get 18's. 17's aren't big enough in my opinion...especially if your gonna drop it, too. As for the drop, I'm partial to Intrax. My car rides so nice, too, you wouldn't belive it was dropped and on 18's. I've had people say that many times.

It's all personal preference tho but I'd take 18's and some Intrax springs even if I had to do it again.
