Gt head rest inserts

i have a unique idea, i was thinking about buying the Gt head rest insterts, and drilling two holes for LED lights, one on each side at the top, and i was wondering if it would light up the Gt only or the whole thing? and how would you run the wires without going inside the seat? any suggestions welcome

have fun wiring through the seat... it would look really ghetto if you didn't go up through them.

also sorry to tell you but its not that unique of an idea, it was discussed earlier this week I believe... a few different people have thought of it independently (me being one)

instead of buying them online, you'd be better off going to an area glass shop and give them a pattern. you could then have them sandblast in the GT so it will light up. if you shine light into plexi from the side, it will only light up if there is marring on the surface (ie sandblasting, etc). also, you'd have to have the LED's shining into the plexi from the side, so they would be mounted inside the headrest.


I think that this would be a really sweet mod... if you get around to doing it definately post up some pics because I would like to see them.
