Alright, about a month ago I redid my headliner in Vinyl in my '03 GA... But, I needed to do something to keep my dome light from smacking me in the head, so uh... I duct taped it there for a few days. Whats the best way to get the duct tape marks off of the vinyl? I don't want to risk ruining the color of the vinyl.

Goo gone works good also if you want you can use some WD-40. It shouldn't do anything to the color but I would test it before you use it in a noticible spot. Hope this helps.

You could try rubbing alcohol. Try it on a scrap first to see if it changes the color.

I had a problem with some dried-up duct tape marks on the dashboard, left by the previous owner. The only thing which did the trick (even Goo Gone was not cutting it!) was the "Adhesive, Wax & Mark Remover" by 3M. It's not cheap (about $8 for 8 oz bottle at PepBoys), but it did remove the marks. It says that it's suitable for vinyl as well, but as others suggested it's probably a good idea to try it first. I figured out the hard way that it's a bad idea to use it on the plastic part around the radio as it eats into the paint , but the rest of the dashboard seems ok.
