How about some results from the dragstrip and from the Show & Shine.

You were at the show and shine. You should know who won that. At the dragstrip it was just test and tune. no actual winners. At least I dont think there was any compititions.

I was asking because we are all competitive to some degree. There were about 50 registered people at the event, that leaves about 11,000 members who were not present. Some of those 11,000 might want to know who did what.

I was thinking that someone might be keeping track of the best times of the various cars and break them down as per engine size. Some may also want to know how their friends did at the Show & Shine.

I did well, in fact, I was very suprised, thankful and proud, this being the first time I have shown the car. I saw who picked up their trophies but I only knew people by their screen names and avatars since this was my first GAOC event. It surely won't be my last.

I at least managed to stay out of the 14's this time out. Most everybody ran fairly well considering how hot and humid it was on saturday.

Tim was your best a 13.6?
Pucci ran a 14.0
IIRC Chads (Y2KGPGT - BTW you really need to change your screen name) best was a 14.40
Matt95GT had a 14.9 <- IIRC being the fastest GA there other than the 8 second drag car.
I ran a best of... oh ya I didnt run. :(

best run was a 16.3 @ 83mph

.4s and 2mph slower then last year, despite a much better running engine :(

Teeeeechnically, yes. Everybody was runnin about .5 slower than normal, n I was about the same, so hopefully that means I'm runnin around a 15.8/15.9. I really need to work on my launch. Chad's gonna readjust my best time [16.33 @ 84.96].. I got in 10 runs total.

I got runner up for pre-99 wild. (by default, only 2 cars  ) Gus (sweet98gagt) accordingly (mine isn't a show car) took first in the category.

During the raffle, I won a dash-stick mat... very appropriate considering the "under construction" status of my dash. Maybe I'll use it instead of the wire tires to mount my additional gauges.

I didn't catch what everyone ran at the track, but as Mel stated all reported running slow. With some practice, launch variations, and tweaking my fuel tuning I was able to squeeze out a 14.94 @ 91.2
Timeslip (http://fazeshift.org/pics/albums/userpics/10001/07-16-2005%2014_947.jpg) Mel was in the other lane BTW.

I ran a 15.8... Don't have the slip with me at the moment for my exact run. But not bad considering the heat and humidity. Much better than my 16.5 first run.

I didn't have the funds to come.. I recently moved out of a town home that me a 2 friends got.. and moved into a apt by myself and things are more pricey and I work 2 jobs and its hard for me to take both off at the same time... plus trying to get my mustang done..
