for the GA guys at least.....do these install with 2 sided tape right on the outside of the door on the weatherstripping?

or do they install by going under the weatherstripping, taping them to the door, then putting the weatherstripping back on? i like this way of installing them alot better...just wanted to know which way is done

i found em on ebay for 53 shipped. but i really want black ones, not smoke. and i want the kind that install under the weatherstripping.....not the ones that you just slap on the door. hopefully they make both install types.......and in black!

yea i know.. the black part wouldnt be too hard... could just paint them black yourself, or have them done i guess... that is if you cant find them on black. I continued searching, and can't find any that are installed the other way, but maybe I'm not looking at quite the right things:(

www.weathertech.com

They have nice ones. They are pricey, but it's pretty neat because they don't use the tape at all. It is supposed to fit inside the window channel. I don't know who on here has them though.

ahhh...so the weathertech ones fit w/o tape, and the auto ventshades ones go on with tape.

sound about right. BTW, try summitracing.com and see if they have em, ill bet they do. the "smoke" ones are black but translucent. if you want solid black ones youll need to paint them or have em painted.

Try the local auto accessory shop. You will find that they can order them for you, quite possibly as quick as next day. And yes, Weathertech is nearly twice the cost of the everyday Ventvisor brand.

What city in Michigan, I can hook you up nearly anywhere south of Saginaw. I have 60 sets of the Ventshade and a few Weathertechs ready to go.

I live in West Bloomfield...i think saginaw is quite a drive.......but how much did you want for a set of the ventshades? can you ship? i think around 50 bucks plus shipping is what most online stores and ebay are charging.

West Bloomfield is the Detroit area ... hit any of the local car/truck accessory shops. We cover that area 4-5 days a week.
