The red dash lights are a different story, Pontiac copied then from BMW in the early 70's

Pontiac has been using the split grill for decades and it's part of their brand idenity.

And RamAir is correct, BMWs might cost alot but their quality has fallen greatly with in the last 5-10 years.

john might not like this, but the argument that Honda, nissan and toyota copy BMW is more of an argument. just becuase a car has dual front grills isnt anything. Lexus has been copying BMW and Mercedes since the start of the brand around 20 years ago.

I just have to say that the one car I've ever raced on the street was a BMW, and that was with my granny car Alero... I walked it with no problem. My GA has the same drivetrain, although I've never raced with it.

dave c- speed isnt everything to alot of people, there are plenty of cars out there that an alero can "walk" BUT 99.99999% of people would take a Beemer over an Alero
