Will my Rockford P5002 power two Alpine Type R's?? or would i have to get a diff amp....im already running two infinity reference 1232W's with that amp that is turned about half way up not even...so will it....if not what should i get??

Well... I guess it could if you ran it parallel at 1x500, giving each sub about 250 watts, but you'd be underpowering the Type R's by around 50 watts each. What's wrong with the infinity's that you want to get rid of them??? I mean, I love the Type R's, but if your current subs are doing the job, then what's wrong with those?

i want to upgrade.....i guess...dont get me wrong the infinitys hit damn hard....but they just arent doin it for me anymore

Eh, I'd recommend getting an entirely diff. setup then. That amp will do the trick, but you won't be giving the Type R's their full potential, and I can't bring myself to recommend someone to do that... :P
