Just wondering if there are any mods out there that will actually help with better gas mileage, Im not looking to really make the car fast as I already have a 500rwhp trans am in my garage, but what can be done that will give me maybe a few extra miles per gallon? anything?

thanks

Carl

Reduced rolling resistance - brakes not dragging, proper air pressure, skinny tires, windows up

Fresh air and fuel filters, good spark plugs.

The most important thing is to accelerate slowly and keep the speed down. It used to be said that the mose efficient speed was 45 MPH but I don't know if that's still true with locking torque converters and computer controlled engines and transmissions.

^what tenspeed said...maintenance is probably the best.

I bought an underdrive pulley from fast forward performance, and I noticed a 2-3 MPG increase with that.

Keeping it under 2500 rpms is probably the best and under 65-70 on the freeway. Any more and your gas mileage takes a nose dive.
