Firewall Access

Does anyone know if there are any easy-access holes through the firewall of a 2001 Grand Am SE?? Do I have to drill one myself??

There are already 3 holes there you should be able to get thru. Two for the wiring harness (by the PCM, follow the wires) and one for the shift cable(s).

all the access points u are talking about have wires filling them completely with rubber grommets already inserted....is there an easy way to deal with those or am i not lookin at the right thing....

also, what is the PCM??

Pull the grommet out, put whatever gauge wiring you need through the hole, twisty tie or duct tape all the wires tightly together after installation, then get a new or use the existing grommet and cut a chunk out of it as to fit all the wiring in it. This should help out.
