Alright I tried looking but found no results.... so I apologize if this was asked before

I know the aztec and minivans have a higher hp rating then the GAs do with the same engine, and I read that is based off the exhaust and intake manifolds.... so on that note, would there be a gain in HP by just swapping the intake manifolds? And if so what would be the ideal year to get the manifold from and what vehicle i.e. aztec, montana etc....

thanks

The intake manifolds are the same, but the exhaust and intakes are different, less restrictive, giving the extra horsepower. I think the PCM is tuned different too. That's just what I read from doing a search.

don't worry, that 5hp is lost in the different gearing anyways

ok thanks alot guys very appreciated, I didnt realize by intake they meant via air induction and not the manifold itself

Bjornboy81 how do you like your fast forward performance underdrive pulley, I was thinking of getting one and heard alot of good things on them, one member here told me he gained gas mileage too like 2-3 extra miles per gallon, if you dont mind me asking what are your results if any

thanks

Carl
