whats up all, im installing the stage 3 doctor speed cold air intake. i have one question, the pcv tube that hooks into the intake tube isnt long enough on my car. it CAN be long enough if i force it, but then once it's in it'll just rip out more than likely and that aint gonna happen. i have all the wires moved outa the way and all that. the pcv tube connects into the back of the engine....and its not even secure or anything. can i just take this OUT of the slot it hooks into the engine so it'll fit good into the intake? help will be appreciated. thx

Try rotating the pipe. Mine fit perfect.

its the black tube that comes from the back of the engine....and you gotta push it through the top hole in the intake. it wouldnt reach all the way into the hole, i just ended up cutting it, and adding some hose in between to make it longer. hey, seems like it works so w/e. also about the installation it was a little troublesome getting the battery back in...i had the intake all in, and then i went to put the battery in and it wouldnt fit haha. i had to mess around with it a bit until it fit, but i got it. and another thing..... there was a piece of the old intake tubing (Ram air 2000 gt) that i had to leave inside b/c i couldnt get to the bolt to undo it. it went all the up right in behind the headlight and i didnt feel like messing with it, so i just left it in. it didn't effect the installation of the CAI at all.

Oh now I know what you are talking about. I had the same problem. Just try both ends..
ex. put one end of the tube touch the engine. If it doesnt fit just turn it around and let the other end of the tube touch the engine. See if it fits that way.. maybe the holes are drilled into the tube closer to one end.
What I did was cut the coupling a little smaller (the one that goes over the throttel body) so that the coupling would not cover the hole. (it covered it in my situation.

mine fit perfectly... hardest part was getting all the stock ram air and air induction crap out.... rest of it was a snap.
