it says for 99'-02' , does this mean it will work for my 04' ? Sorry about the double post , I know that alot of people don't look at every forum , so if I posted in the two most related rooms it should be answered.........didn't mean anything by it and thx for the heads up!

no problem.
I believe (might want another opinion) that if it works on 99-02, it'll work on any 99+. they're the same engine.

I ended up ordering one from Iraggi Alternators, had to be custom built for the 04' model case on the alternator cost me 379.00 shipped for a 200 amp, he has an excellent reputation with his work also. THX appreciate it

not a bad price for 200amps custom built. Why such a big alternator though?

it takes power to make power and if you run much of an audio system you have to have one, 200 amps is good for 2000 watts rms, REAL WATTS, if you run more then 2000rms you'll need another battery with the 200 amp alternator, to give the amps 14.4volts other wise there only getting 12.5 volts....MAYBE and usually less off factory alternator and so your in turn only getting half the power your amps were designed to make. If your amps are more than 800rms together, thats all the stock alternator will power at 14.4 volts then the power starts dropping and the amps are run off the battery and power starts dropping even more which drops the output power of your amplifiers . Also running low power to amps is hard on them as well as creates distortion and heat, when there working trying to produce there power without enough input power......hope this helps

LOL...a simple "i'm running 2000Wrms" would have worked.
Thanks though! :D
