Hi Guys! I am praying someone can help me here. I just got home from Peoria (about 20 minutes from me). I travelled throughout Peoria for around an hour and a half. Now its like 98 degrees fahrenheit out. I get back and order a pizza for pickup. Half hour later, I go downstairs to get my pizza and nothing....My car wont start. It turns over like crazy, but no start. I have a half tank of gas and checked my fuses. The engine block is VERY Hot to the touch. Should I just let it cool down? Thanks for any suggestions, Nick

Do you hear the fuel pump run for a sec when you first turn the key on?

Ok, if the starter is turn the motor over, then there is most likely no spark or no gas. Quads have 2 coils, the odds of both dying at the samde time are slim. So back to gas. If the fuel pump is not kicking in, then no gas is getting to the motor, so no start.
Might also be dirty fuel filter, how long has it ben since it was changed?

If you can let the car sit for 30 or so minutes, the go out, leave the car doors open, turn the key to the click before the starter ingauages.
Listen for a hum that last a few sec's. No hum, no pump, maybe get a buddy to sit back by the tank??
That would be my next step.

2002 has the 2.2 ecotech, I don't know if it has two coils or not.

Im thinking its a blocked gas filter. Does anyone know where its located? Could also be a fuel sensor. I do hear a buzzing with the key in the "ON" Pos. Hope that helps

Hey guys, It turns out that it was the Passlock system. I left the key in the "ON" Position for a little over 10 minutes. Went down and checked the flashing "security" light. It was just going out. Im just leery its going to happen again. OK Thanks guys
