It could be a number of problems that cause the SES light to come on , a bad sensor etc. ( usually not low fluids ) . You'll have to get the code stored in the computer read to find out what's wrong . If you don't have a scan tool take it to a local repair shop or dealer .

Go to an Auto Parts store (Autozone, Checkers) and have them read the codes. Like Colin said, it could be a number of things. Is it running any differant?

SES lights are emmissions equipment related. As everyone has said: Check that your gas cap is tight, then have the codes read. :)
Mine has come on twice now.
Once for a loose gas-cap, and the other was for restricted fuel injectors.
Take it an auto parts store and have the code read.

Ummm....'emmissions equipment related'??? OK. I got the SES light and it was a broken plate in my torque converter.......
