tranny grinding

ok so when i shift into third gear ( or second, which ever is 35mph) i hear a slight grind, i added this really thick tranny oil, supposed to be top of the line (started with l or J i cant remember) it helped a bit, does not grind as much (once the 25 min ride home) and i did it also so it wont slip on me seeing as im trading it in for a new car. Has anyone had this before with a good out come?

hm it seems that when i floor it to that gear it wonr do it, but when i go at it slow it does..

well i took it to the shop, and they said it may be caused my computer....any one understand what that may mean?

Please tell us what year, engine, and tranny you have.

Was the tranny additive 'Lucas'?
