The Grand Am wheels from that era will not fit on the Grand Prix. So you're out of luck. :( And I'm sure GM doesn't make them anymore - best bet is a junkyard.

why wont they fit? brakes in the way? they have the same bolt pattern and offset i think, 5x115 FWD offset

Until '99, the Grand Am wheels were 5x110mm.

Not all FWD GM vehciles have the same bolt pattern OR offset.

Not something I would recomend because then your compromising the structural integrity of the wheel. And if it's aluminum your bound to have problems after drilling.

Erik, why not just take OEM rims that fit and paint them the exact same color as your GP?

Oh my God. Why are you so 80's, Erik.

The 80's was a decade in the auto industry we should forget, not relive. Buy some good rims. We've discussed this before: Remember those blueberry Grand Prix's you love? The ones with the blueberry colored wheels. Ew. No No No :(.

THAT might be an idea

And yes, the 89-93 Grand Prix Crosslace wheels were 16x8 wheels, the only pontiac FWD wheels to be that wide, i think the GXP has em that wide now, and the GTO

yea, i just got a quote to have my wheels done in black and keep a tiny silver lip that i can polish myself. $50 per rim, which isnt that bad, the only shop in the Phoenix Metro area that would do it is 25mi away though, jeez. Hopefully i can get them done next weekend!
