Ok. So I decided to de-badge my car over the weekend. I was very pleased with the results....at first. However. After looking close....I can see scuff/light scratch marks. I guess I rubbed way to hard trying to remove the glue...or what ever it is that holds the decals on.

I tried rubbing compound, wax, and a few other things. But nothing seems to help. However....Out of desperation....I sprayed a bit of Armour-All on the spots. This seems to hide the marks. So.... I am assuming there has to some sort of cure for the scuffs. (besides Armour-All)

Any ideas?

1500 to 2000 grit sandpaper followed by rubbing compound with a buffer. Then polish it up & wax it. Depending on the color of your car you may need to use a med. grit rubbing compound before the polish.

I got rid of mine just by using some of the stuff im using for detailing.
Meguiars step 1 paint cleaner stuff or something.

I tried the wet sand approach. It didn't work. However....I did try a product similar to what Brad uses. It didn't fix the problem. (shows up after waxing) But it hides it..... I'm satisfied.

Thanks for the reply's...all two of them. lol.
