No More GAGT

Well, after my accident (pics are on here somewhere) we got the car back in HORRIBLE shape, I couldn't deal with it anymore, we kept it for about a month or two and decided to trade it in. We are now the proud owners of a 2005 Dodge Stratus SXT. I'm really gonna miss my GA, but this is my first brand new car, so Im excited.

:lol: Funny.. we have exact opposite stories... My Dodge went to crap... Got a GAGT.. You'll like your dodge.. Mine was good to me most of the time I had it.. If you're looking for some good mopar (for advice, meets etc etc) people and being that you're in IL.. Try www.canoe4u.org Buncha helpful Mopar people there.. I'm still very active with them. As a matter of fact we're having an install day tomorrow! But keep them in mind if you ever have any questions :) Enjoy the new ride

those Stratus SXT's are nice,wouldn't mind having one,they have a nice stance and aggressive look.

I agree with Ryan. Those new Stratus sports coupes are HOTT.

thanks guys, I will probably post some pics of it soon, I will still be hanging around here a little bit, I couldn't leave this site even if I dont own a GA anymore. But, we went with the stratus pretty much because of the look. We almost got into an 05 GA SC/T but, the dealer couldn't work out the numbers for us... makes me cry just thinking about it........ but like I said before, Im happy with this car.

I might get my head eaten for this, but I personally think the newer Stratus is a much better build car then our Grand Ams, just due to the upgrades in interior qualities, and such.

I agree, the new Stratus is a cool vehicvle. It is built with quality and is up to date, but isnt trying to go Euro or copy the Jap auto makers. Its a mean lookin coupe.

one thing I don't get: isn't the SXT the base model Dodge vehicle, with the R/T being the upper level? that's what I remember from stopping by the Dodge dealership, maybe I'm wrong, but it seems like they are trying to attach a cool name to the base model just so people think its more cool? ok, I'm starting to confuse myself, please straighten me out someone...

yeah, it is pretty much a base model, the SXT part is just a different appearance package. As for the GAGT, when we got it back, there was a list of things wrong with it.... the fog light was hanging down, the post above the radiator was bent in the accident and the body shop just slapped black tape over it, the driver window (electric) would not roll up or down, and the passenger door interior kept getting stuck when we tried to open it. It just was horrible, and as much as I miss it, I'm glad we finally traded it in.

yes the RT is the upper level. That is a really nice lookin car, a friend of mine that lives down the street has that with 18's on it and shaved lettering on the back, its a badass lookin car

yeah the difference in the sxt and the r/t is the engine size, the sxt is a 2.4 and the r/t is a 3.0, as for appearance, the bodies are the same they just have different rims. And I will post a pic of it soon, we just took it in today for tint.
