Hey Everybody,

Sik will be in the Bay during labor day weekend. We are thinking of meeting up possibly on the Saturday somewhere in the Bay. Let me know if anybody has any ideas where to go.

Anywhere is fine but I'll be in my beat up & being worked on Porsche because the GA is current out of comission. I would like to drive no more than 45min - 1 hour one way if possible.

Don't worry Kaitlin. I want to keep it in the actual Bay Area for once too...all you Sacramentoianistites (lol) and Davisianiteoans are crampin' my style. Not too mention it's hot as shit up where you guys are...LoL

WC/Pleasanton/Dublin area? Davis? Throw out some ideas...

Where should we meet up? Maybe in Walnut Creek, Concord, Vallejo?

I might be interested, but can't make any commitments at this time. I'm takin the GA in on Friday for a service. Good times. As far as traveling, I'm ok with pretty much anywhere in the bay area, but the closer to the north bay the better :)

We decide on a place yet????

I hear you Becky, my car is going in on Friday for some issues (AGAIN)
-possible LIM gasket 3rd time
-cooling problem, maybe related to the LIM gasket
-power steering leaking
-the normal oil change and servicing
-oil leaking out of the PCV
ARGH!

I thought we settled on Saturday already?

Yeah..Saturday. We can meet in Danville if you guys want. There's shitload of parks in suburbia...

Danville sounds good, a nice quiet park. What time, and need directions!

Well, looks like you'll have to count me out on this one (which is good because my car really needs a bath :)) My fiance and I just booked a flight to Illinois to make a deal on a Z06. Have fun at the meet and make sure you post some pics :)

*****CHANGE OF PLANS*****

After thinking it over and checking the place out, it's going to be really crowded this weekend and hard to find a single area to get all our cars. Plus, what were we going to do in the park since we didn't plan to BBQ or anything?

SOOO, I found a place that's easy to get to with lots of space and is close to places to eat or just cruise. The new spot is the Danville Park and Ride Lot.

Directions coming North on 680:

Exit Sycamore Valley Road and head right (east). Now the Park and Ride Lot is directly across from the exit here so you can either dash across 4 lanes to get to the left hand turn entrance, or the safer thing to do would be to go right. Make a right at the corner and the first right into the Denny's lot. Just exit the lot, go left (Camino Ramon, I think) and head directly across the intersection. I'll be in the very back.

Directions coming South on 680:

Exit Sycamore Valley Road. Make a left (east) and stay in the second to left hand lane. Make another left at the first light. The lot will be on your left side, over the overpass.

Sorry for the sudden change but it didn't really make all that much sense to go to a crowded park on a holiday weekend. I'll be there at 1PM on the dot. I'm only like 3 miles away. If you guys want we can cruise over to the park that we originally mentioned as it's about 10 miles or so from the Park and Ride Lot.

There are a million places in the area to eat, a handful of parks within 5 miles and the "downtown" part of Danville to explore if you feel inclined.

If you get lost or show up early just hit me up on the cell. (858)531-0449.
