This isn't related to me; Its more of a list of chronic and known problems.

My mom is planning to sue her current work for "ageism" (discrimination against age). Since she worked lots of hours, I helped her by taking care of my brother (taking and picking him up, feeding him, etc.)

Here's where you owners will fit in: She'll let me trade in for another car under $7500, and I located this beautiful Spruce Green sedan. I got the performance specs (+60HP, +60TQ over mine), I just wanna know if you currently have any.

For example:
3100- L.I.M. gaskets
TwinCam-#3 rod bearing

This is the kind of info I'm interested in.

Thanks in advance!

Well, you didn't tell us the make, model, year and engine size of the car you were looking at. We would be able to tell you more with that information.

Being that he posted this under the "3400 V6 (LA1) Discussion" I'm guessing it's a 99+ SE or GT (doesn't really matter anyways) Grand Am with the 3400 V6. ;)

As far as I know most of these engines have the LIM leak problem, and I think some had a problem with the water pump.

Damn... I thought it was dead with the 31 at the arrival of the 34.

Like I said, its motor related, and I chose this section as the reason.

anyone who's worth there salt in this forum can tell you not to put coolant in your glove compartment.

.. and to put the lid back on the coolant reservoir after you fill it..

.. and if some fluid is coming out of something, that's precisely where the leak is. take for example, the following hypothetical situation: i have a carton of milk, and i drop it on the floor or smack it with a heavy object, say, a hood or some such. the carton bursts at a seam. where is the leak? why, it's on the carton, where the milk is coming out. the fix? a few good cats, and a new carton.
