Stupid me.. I bought what I thought was a 4l bottle of 5w30 Castrol GTX to do my oil change with.. and it turned out to be 5w20. I was positive it said 30, oh well.

Do I need to change it back ASAP? I'm planning on going out of town for the weekend.. 200 kms of driving in total. Thanks.

I'd definately get it out before winter hits. Once it gets cold it'll be even thicker at startup.

I was thinking in terms of wondering if it would be okay to use for a couple of weeks, if that. I know I gotta replace it.. think I'll go to Mobil 1.

That's what I use, Mobil 1 5w30. It got rid of my valve clatter. I would think you'd be ok for a few weeks, considering it's warm outside right now. It'd be giving you valvetrain noise if it wasn't flowing properly.
