... depends on what you expect from it ... it will ceertainly provide more 'air' into the engine; however, it will not increase performance to a dramatic amount ... I have one and felt the difference; although, it was small :)

K&N filters are less restrictive than the stock filters so they improve air flow into the engine. They also do a better job of filter the air and they dont need to be replaced just recharged so you save money because all you have to do is clean them with the kit they have instead of buying a new one. I had one on my 2001 Saturn havent bought one for the GA

I dont think they make that much performace difference. Its just peice of mind and never having to buy a new filter again. I stopped at Pep Boys on the way home from buying my car and put it in as soon as my car got to its new home.
