Quick ? where cani get a manual trans for the 3400 and how much?

They never made a manual for the 3400, but I remember reading on here somewhere (try a search) that the manual from a V6 cavy will match up. Where and how much, I have no idea.

a getrag282 from a 5spd V6 J body or L body will bolt to the engine just fine, but as far as other clearance issues, i don't know. you can search the beretta forums for answers to wiring questions as there are a handful of 5spd 3x00's there, but AFAIK there aren't any converted GA's.

not something you can just slap in "quick" - you're on your own about alot of it and expect a week of down time installing one.

Yes...the V6 from a 2nd Gen Sunbird or Cavalier will bolt up directly to a 3400.

There may be problems adapting the tranny to the OBDII stuff.
