my buddy introduced me to this stuff called Seafoam. He bought a can of it, and while the car is kept running, you pour about half of it into the brake booster vac line. then shut the car off, replace the booster line, and let it set for about 10 minutes. Then fire the car, and run it until all the smoke clears. This is supposed to remove any carbon build up in the upper intake and vaccum lines of the engine. Wondering if anyone had any more information on it before i use it on my car. Thanks.

I use it once a year on my 92 Blazer, I break it into thirds, 1/3 into top end (like you said) 1/3 in the gas tank and the last 1/3 in the oil about 100 miles before a change. Works great.

Wonderful stuff, good on cornflakes too. Just be careful pouring it in, to much will hydroloc the engine and possibly damage valves. I use a metering valve and run the engine at 1500 RPM's. If done correctly the engine will stumble but remain running.

all you have to do is take the large vac line off the brake booster and slowly pour it in there while someone else keeps the car running for you. then after you have 1/3 of the bottle in the vac lines, shut the car off and let it set for a good 10 minutes. then start it up, and run it.
