I read the FAQ about this warning light, but still have a few questions.

Because I changed oil about 2 months ago, and less than 3000 KMs before... And the oil level and quality is good.

So I want to know, the oil life counting system need to be reset on every oil change or not?! Because if the warning light is not on, how can I "reset" it?! And if I changed oil before the light on, will it continue counting till the "number" reach zero and the light turn on again? I don't think it's so smart that it knows when I changed the oil :)

So what can I do is better?? Go to get an oil change now, or wait for next time the light turn on? ( I already reset it. )

I would just wait personally...

I'd reset it now, then wait another 3000 Km or so and get an oil change (making it 6000Km total). The light won't be back on at this point, but reset it anyways, this way you're back in line with when the computer thinks it's time for an oil change. :)

You can still reset it (I think) the same way you normally would even if the light is not on. check your manual.

You should reset the oil life monitor at EVERY oil change, wether the 'change oil' light is on or not. If you don't, the light will come on pre-maturely next time.

ennn.... that means after an oil change, I just need to simply turn the key to "ON", then press the reset button on time, then press and hold for a while... and I don't need to pay attention to the "Change Oil Light" flash or not, or there is a chime or not...
is that right?

The light will still flash, and the car will still chime during the reset procedure. :)
