99 Grand SE 3.4 V6
Do these cars have problems with loosing coolant? Leaking gaskets?
1. No coolant I can see on the ground.
2. NO coolant in the motor oil.
3. None coming from exhaust.
4. NO OIL/Foam in the Reservoir tank.
I can smell it when I get OUT of the car. Can it build up in the valley area between the heads?
Thanks, Mike

Check to see if the pressure cap is slightly leaking. Check to see how full the resevoir is. If you don't see any coolant on the ground or on any engine parts that's quite odd. You might have a pin hole in one of the hoses possibly.
The 3.4 has a common problem with leaking coolant from the lower intake manifold gasket. Usually you will see coolant in the oil or down the sides of the motor (under the throttle body or by the tensioner)

If you are comfortable working on cars then it shouldn't be too bad with a haynes or other type of manual. A few people on here have posted pics etc of when they did it. Basically a weekend would be required. Otherwise it's between $600-1000 at a shop.
