Sadly, I think I will be getting rid of my GA here pretty soon. Wouldn't start today and I'm just tired of things continually going wrong. I love the car to death but I think it's time to get something else. Maybe a hyrbrid with these outrageous gas prices. Who knows... :(

:( ... sometimes it is more economical to FIX problems than to get a new car; however, you'll have to be the judge if the annoyance factor weighs heavily :( ... either way, stick around :)

Hate it when a member gets rid of the grand am. But if you want to part out some stuff... let me know :) CAI or maybe flowmaster.

i love the car... but i've spent 2,000 in repairs in the last 5 months. not to mention an uncountable amount since i bought it in 2001. if i do decide to get rid of it, i will definitely let everyone on here know what parts i may sell.

well, my GA is gone :( . i miss it but i'm glad i don't have to worry about it taking more money out of my wallet. and sorry to say, i have no more parts available for sale. the only thing i took out was the audio system and i sold that to one of my old friends. then they took the car as is. the dealer gave me 8k for my trade in!! i couldn't believe it. i bought a 2006 mazda3. i had to get something more economical with these gas prices. it gets up to 38 mpg and i love it. i'll get some pix on here asap. but grand am was my first car and i'll always remember it.

nothing wrong with that, I feel the same way. I'm going to get a new car in march/april, instead of turboing my GA, like I had planned. It'll take a good 5k to get my GA turbo'd, to run maybe a 13 ? The new civic si looks great, or again, I will look at the rsx-s again. :) Lets see pics of the mazda!

$8k for a trade in '01 GA that was just sucking money out of your wallet anyway?!?! That's great, good for you!

I like Mazda cars...although I've never driven one I like the looks of the 3 and the 6 and would certainly look at both if I got a new car.

Enjoy your new toy! :bigok: PICS!!!
