No Brights

I have a 2002 GA SE 2.2 ecotec. I replaced the headlights with some xenon 6000K red headlights. Now my brights are on all the time and i can't turn them off. The problem with that is the brights are only about as bright as they should be with out brights, and when i turn my brights on they get very dim. Also my ses light is now comming on. help me out!

Sounds like you put the bulb in upside down or cross wired the bulb.

putting the hot lead to the dim setting on the hot lead for the brights. So that's why the brights are comming on first instead of the dims. When you click to brites you are truley turning on the dims. So the lights get softer.

maybe the bulb was wired wrong at the factory??

Are the bulbs 9007?

yeah 9007, they're Euro Designes that i bought off ebay. I'll check to make sure that i didn't put them in upside down but the way that the plastic is shaped i find that to be highly unlikely. and what are the chances that i put them both on backwards? slim to none i think. You might be on to something with the wrong from the factory deal. i'll check it out and let you guys know. Thanks for the input. It's greatly appreciated.
