Hi friends... thought I'd mention this product I tried and let you know to not use it around your headlights. It etched drip marks on the plastic lens; these are permament too, dammit. but mine are foggy and cloudy anyways, am I am about to order new ones soon.
Anyway, I bought this stuff from Armor All called Multi-Purpose Auto Cleaner. I primarily used it for the brake dust and small road tar removal, and it worked superbly for that. I also decided to use it on all the black rubber gaskets to remove that black film that builds up....again; worked super.
Now, i used it on the rubber gaskets that go around the headlights.... big mistake. The excess drippings caused some kind of etching in the plastic lens's. So if you use this stuff, don't use it around your plastic headlight lens's..
Figured I mention that so nobody else botches up their len's. Hey; they are problematic enough with the usual cloudiness and yellowing; we don't need to speed up the deterioration of them, lol...

On another matter, I found something great to use on your ehaust tips in case they are badly pitted and blackened. I bought this stuff called Navel Jelly; a thick pink gel that you paint on with a brush. This stuff worked fantastic to remove the deep pit marks off the stainless steel tips. I still had to wire brush them, but the work was worth it. Wish I had a way to take a pic of them though...

Oh well, just thought I'd mention those two things... Take care everyone..
