Cam swap ??

Hey guys, I'm getting my hands on some cams for the "secret cam" swap. I don't have access to a garage at school, so I need to bring it to a shop to have it done. Anyone know how much they would charge to do it? Thanks.

I would reconsider then... a shop would likely charge upwards of $400-500 for that amount of valvetrain labor. The cam swap is more popular for those who can do the work themselves.

I figured it would be somewhere up in that range, but I didn't know for sure. I have to think about it for a little bit, I think I could spend the money a little more wisely.

i think the labor would be in the 4-6 hour range. While your at it replace all the tensoners, timing chain, and water pump if you want.
