Dual exhaust

Anyone have the dual exhaust look put on thier Ecotec yet???

Not yet but I plan on getting a muffler from a grand am gt and putting it on my car. I like the look

I just put on an apc dual exhaust muffler this winter, I love the sound it gives the 2.2L pretty mean........I pulled in this aftermarket car shop in the area and they thought i was in a mustang hehehe!! I must say that it does boggg down sometimes but i'm sure this has something to do with the converter........ anyways, besides my rims it was the best mod i put in her so far....And for $140 installed I like it even more!!! :D

Did it replace the stock muffler?
Where did you buy it?
Is there a link?
How much without the install?
Have a picture of just the muffler?

I am going to make duel ext and it is going to come out where the rear lower back up lights are like the old mustang or 53
corvette

Are you thinking of sleeving the bumper or using double wall tips? I don't know if the tips get hot enough to melt the bumper material.

I have taken the rear bumper and foam out already now there is a lot of room I am thinking of using a alum box like tubing 4x6 by 5foot seven inches in place of the rear bumper then having like 21/4 inch pipes coming through the plastic, I am hoping that they will not burn the plastic cus they will be mounted to the frame though the alum box tube

I had a 86 svo mustang turbo 2.3 with duel tips that came through a saleen rear plastic type of ground bumper cover and it seemed to be ok
