We're changing servers!

Here we grow again! The GAOC has officially outgrown the limits of shared web hosting, and we are now forced to move to a dedicated server. During this changeover there will be some downtime. Please have patience with us while we make this move. The new server should provide us with the speed and reliablity we deserve. Once the site transfer starts, we will take the forums offline to prevent any data loss.

This move is a huge step in the right direction, and we are very proud of this decision. Again, the GAOC will remain to be 100% free for our membership.

Correct. However, the site will be down during the transfer, which could take some time.

Do you know when the transfer will happen? And about how long it will take? Because you know some of us (I mean them) will miss the place if you are down more than a couple of hours.

hahaha The biggest concern is how long the DNS changes will take to propogate. We have the new server up, we are just now beginning the site transfer. Expect the forums here to go offline VERY shortly.
