engine goes from high pitch to low pitch when i start it in the morning

hey guys in the morning when i start my car when the engine is totally cold i wait like 1 minute and it goes from high pitch to low pitch. what does that mean the engine is warm enough to drive?

Do you mean the idle is higher when you first start it than it is after a minute of running? If thats what you mean, then yes...it is a good idea to let the car idle for a little before you drive off. It gives the oil time to circulate.
