Hello

Does anyone have any idea how to eject a CD that is stuck in the vehicle cd player?
I attempted to play a music CD that was burned on a computer - yes, a copy - and it won't eject or play.

2002 Pontiac Grand Am

Thanks!

Try eject with the power off on the HU.

Monsoon Stereo? Was there a label on the CD? Any error messages on the stereo display?

Off topic, according to your profile you have a 2.3L Quad4 H.O. listed as your engine in your 2002 GT. :???:

My cd player used to give me errors about certain cds. Disconnect the battery and then re-connect it. It should reset the cd player and the entire unit. This way, it will start like new and it should eject when you push the button, unless there was a label, then u would have to open up the entire unit to get it out and probably have to get a new lens for the cd reader.

Unless it is physically jammed in there; it happened on my old mustang quite a bit. I had to remove the CD player from the dash (special puller), then unscrew the case exposing the CD. Then manually eject it. What a pain.

HU=Head Unit (i.e. cdplayer) located in dash.
