You would stand more of a chance on one of the J-body forums.

I am going to be producing intakes for the 2.4L. Not for a couple months though (I still have to make a prototype of the intake)

just like everybody else, i would be interested if it were like $230 bux at the most. thats not a huge discount from the usual $265. and mantapart has one for like $235 or somethin.

i wouldnt mind taking it over... the only reason i havent purchased a CAI is that the cheapest one i can find is $225 from Mantapart. and they dont even have pics of it. The I-D Cai looks sweet but i refuse to spend $265 on an intake. what i dont understand is how if we got 1-5 people on the group buy, it would be $290!! thats more expensive than the asked price online. am i missing something? also... i really would like to see if "urweak" is still thinking about making a CAI for the 2.4 or not.

im not, i want to, but i dont think i can make one and sell it for what i orignaly thought. After thinking and pricing things out, the intake would run close to $200 (that is with a nice K&N filter) and about $150ish with a crap ebay filter.
And at the price, i know ill get the typical GA owners that want to nickle and dime me and say they will just make their own for less.
you could prob pick up a used one off ebay....
