hey guys i have a question. I have a rubber scuff mark on the front fender of my car. My stepson decide to rest his bike on the car and when he took it off, he scuffed the handle across the car. Is there anyway to get this off the car as i hate looking at it and seeing the black mark.

Thanks in advance

1. Beat the stepson.
2. Get some soapy water and just rub it off gently...takes some work, but it'll come off.
3. If that doesn't work, try a very mild rubbing compound.

I had the same problem on my rocker panels...just getting in and out of the car, my shoes were leaving black marks...they just came off with soapy water.

Lighter fluid or bug/tar remover.

never thought of that. and the lighter fluid wont ruin the paint?

Shouldn't cause a problem. Might want to try it on a not easily visible test spot first. I used it for a white scuff on a black car.

The paint has a clear coat over it and it's tough. What to use depends on what the handlebar is made of.

If it's rubber, WD 40 might loosen it. Polishing compound should take off everthing. Simple Green or 409 if it's organic.
