aright i need a cold air intake. im not looking for a warm air or even a cold box intake, i want the real thing. i found this one ( http://www.induction-dynamics.com/sunfirecavaliergrandamalero24l.html ) and its about 265 bux. i wanted to know if this is the right one for me car, if it fits on without any crazy modifications. im sure i will have to take the wheel and wheel well off but im hoping there isnt a bunch of cutting and stuff. also, if anybody knows of any other CAI's for the '96 GT with 2.4L thanks much -Kev

265$ seems like about 10x too much to pay for a simple piece of tube and a filter.

It will fit, but things in the fender area will be tight... it may require some trimming of the pipe there to get the angle necessary to put the fenderwall back in without tire rub.

I have that intake and love it. Yes its a little pricey but I thought it was worth it. I did not have to do any modifications to make it fit but I have a 2000.

the Brewed Performance intakes (made by our member urweak) are a lot less expensive.
