FYI
The sportiest Cadillac convertible in history will wear the GM division's largest pricetag in history as well. GM said this week that the Cadillac XLR-V roadster will be priced at $100,000 when it arrives in showrooms early next year. The roadster sports a 443-hp, supercharged version of the Cadillac Northstar V-8 and retains the XLR's hardtop convertible mechanism. The XLR-V will be a limited edition vehicle, GM says, and a few will be exported to markets outside the U.S. to draw attention to Cadillac's new lineup. The XLR-V's pricetag includes destination charges

I love that car and if I had eight figures in the bank I'd buy one.

But I'd like to see it with a GM LS7 engine instead of the Northstar. Many more mods avalible for it. And yes I'm aware that the owners arent the type to mod it, but I would. lol

That's what 'vettes are for buddy ;) Might as well start with the car that's got carbon fibre all over it, no?

To be honest I think the XLR better looking than the Vette, but with a standard XLR starting at about $75,000 I'd buy a ZO6 first. Not saying the Vette isn't one sexy machine, I jus tlike the Caddy better.
However like I said, if I had the money I'd love to smoke Vettes with a Caddy.

I'm with John. If I had that kind of disposable income to blow on a car, I'd buy one. Honestly, in that price range you're not even looking at the real performance so much as the status of having that high price car.

But... you can look at it this way as well... even with 50 or so less horsepower then the SL600 twin turbo, it's still a bargain at more then 30,000 less then the Mercedes. :) Look at it that way, it's a bargain. :D

Mike I think you need to send that Aveo to LPE. I'd be interested into see what they can do with that bad boy. :D

That would be too funny John. Heck even with say 150hp, this little 2400 lb car would be pretty quick.
