InsaneSkippy

Trish: Yah there's a little bump there, I dunno what from, but part of it is also the new gasket from the headlights, they're a pain in the ass, they don't stay on nearly as well as the stock ones..
FlyingAce: Thanks, I try to keep it clean as much as possible, I'm glad someone noticed the theme I was going for :D the interior is going to be sivler/black/blue. They're Silverstar bulbs, soon to be replaced by a HID kit.

I have Silverstar Cool Blue bulbs.

The car looks great man :thumbup2:
Do you have a better picture of the rear window with the vinyl? My tint is messed up like yours was, and I was thinking of doing that. How does it look from the inside too? Thanks :)
InsaneSkippy
10-25-2005, 08:49 AM
Thanks Paul
Yah I do:
Before:
http://i11.photobucket.com/albums/a168/Insaneskippy2/Cars/My%20Car/backwindow.jpg
After (Note, I didn't bother trimming it to go along with defroster lines, you only notice it if you goto the back and look.) :
http://i11.photobucket.com/albums/a168/Insaneskippy2/Cars/My%20Car/backvinyl.jpg
Also, from the inside, you notice two things... 1. It's darker on the inside :) 2. You can see where the strip is because it's solid black, where as the tint is 15% but it's not really that big of a deal.
Overall I'm really happy I got it. Also, the directions were a little weird so I just used a big piece of paper to make the template I wanted then cut the eyebrow from there.

LOL...thanks, but I mean a better picture as in maybe one of the whole car from the back. I'm just being picky :P I want to know what it will look like in contrast to the silver before I go spend $25 on it and then tear it off. :D Thanks Kyle!

Nice car... mmm silver!
I like the front/back windshield eyebrows, I've been wanting to do that myself for a while, just haven't yet. I've also been thinking about covering the black molding around the car with silver and adding a black pinstripe! :P Lastly, those headlights look really good, I can't wait to see what it looks like with your new rims...
Keep up the good work.

kyle your car colour is not the exact same silver as mine but it gives me at least and idea as to how the blk/chrome headlights match or show compared to gunmetal pcp altezza tails you have . and the fact you like me have silverstar bulbs in. i have exact same tails with my shade of silver , your silver stars frt bulbs but have yet to replace headligths to those blk/chrome ones. was not sure whether to get the blk/chrome or the newer all chrome . think blk chrome would look best .
question. how do they reflect on things compared to factory ones. some folks say because of the blk you loose a wee bit light and the reflection is different but can be adjusted/re-aiming to improve reflection.

I'm not sure how the all chrome lights would look on the silver, I ordered mine before they had the chrome ones, but I think if I had to do it over again, I'd get the black ones again.
Aparently the light output is 100% the same as stock, the only difference I noticed was, the way it projected the light forward, it was a weird pattern of lights I guess you could say. It's just as easy to adjust these as stock, although it may take a little fine tuning at the end.
