a twincharged engine?

im too lazy to read it... chain notes? (I hate vw anyways...)

I assume since it says superturbo its an engine twincharged, IE: a supercharger on the intake side, and a turbo on the exhaust side...

Not really revolutionary, Nissan did this same thing back in 1989.

Yea, ive heard of guys twin charging quite a few cars.. but thats ok, let vw think they have discovered the secrets to forced induction

I wonder, is it any good? Ive heard twincharging engines makes them pretty unreliable and hard to maintain...

My friend has a WRX, you can get at them from underneath, it's a horizontally opposed 4-cyl so it's not too bad. An I'm pretty sure that turbo/supercharged STi makes something like 800awhp.
