you have the awesome white painted rims! keep them white, or if they are in disrepair, replaint them white. other than that, your car looks awesome. you can get a strut tower bar for cheap, just search froogle.com
also, an aem intake is only 200ish from their website. or you can search on froogle.com for a good price on that as well
i recommend nokya headlights or sylvania silverstars... and get some new rubber if you havent already done that, one of the best ways to shape up your cars performance is with a good set of tires.
also, eibach has lowering springs for about 300, or you can find intrax on froogle.com
In short, just search for 1997 Grand Am [part name] on froogle.com

how did i?
Its a tint-spray called VHT's Niteshade. It is fully legal, you can even see the reflectors at night :D
Anyways, I order a can from summitracing.com but they overcharge, so its best to see if you can find it at a local speed shop or autozone-like place. checker/napa/etc\
all i did was wetsand the taillights with 800, 1000, 1500, and 2000 grit sandpaper, then i taped off the brake light area, and sprayed 3 coats or so to the turn-signal area.
Next, I waited for that to dry, sanded it with 1500 and 2000 grit sandpaper, then proceeded to apply 3 more coats to the entire tailight. After that I sanded again with 1500 and 2000 grit.
Next, after sanding it to perfection and cleaning them off, I prepped the tails for clearcoat.
I used Duplicolor exterior automotive paint clearcoat. I sprayed 3 even coats of that then gave it another sanding at only 2000 grit.
Next, I sprayed one last thin, very careful, even coat of cealrcoat, since this last coat will affect how well the tails shine and look.
The end result was this:

oh, forgot to mentuion, i tinted the turnsignals fully, so you cant see any orange, and then you can barely see the red -- but all the reverse lights, turn signals, brake lights/etc all are clearly visible day or night. :D
