Question for those with Oil Pressure Guage

I'm wondering where you connect the oil pressure guage on the LA1 (and I'm referring to wiring, not placement of the guage) - it'll likely be similar to the LG8, but I cannot find any reference to the oil pressure sending unit in my Haynes manual (yet another disappointment from Haynes...).

It's right near the starter.
Here is a picture that shows where it is located on the LA1.
I will be installing my oil pressure gauge tuesday if all goes as planned.

That's correct, John. Just be careful not to confuse the Knock sensor (above the oil filter) with the oil pressure switch (above the starter). They both look similar when you're under the car. :lol:

OK ... I won't tell you that we removed the knock sensor and then figured out after we seen there wasn't a hole in the plug :wink4:

At least we only made the mistake once though, right?

To our defense, we didn't have a diagram like the one John just posted. Crawl under the car and see how similar the 2 of them look. ;) :bolt:
