I have a 99 Grand am SE2 with the 3.4l v6.

I just replaced the:

Alternator
Battery
New Intake Gasket
Remachine Heads
New Valves

The problem i am having after changing all of this, and i wasn't having before is that it stalls when i approch a stop sign. So like as i get to the stop sign the RPMs go to like 1k RPM, then drop to 500RPM and bounces around a little then the car just stalls...

I've heard rumors of it either a TPS or a IAC, Any thoughts?

You hit the head of the nail on that one. My car did the same thing until I took off my air filter assembly and unplugged the damned thing. Unplug it, out the side of your tranny and drive it around. Betcha it won't do it again.:D

I replaced the TPS this weekend. It's fine now.

Also the car is for sale if anyone wants a new Grand am, and lives in michigan near the Flint area.
