Hey all,

I was wondering what the cheapest upgrades are to make my grand-am looking nice. It's a 2000 2 door, 5 speed, red. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Anything for a good price that I can do myself for the exterior or interior.

Thanks,

Dan

Rims, or tint

Keeping the car clean and shining is a great start. After that it all comes down to budget and taste. Tint is a great start.

Tint is a very nice mod to a car, getting mine done soon.

tint for sure, but for really easy DIY, try vinyl overlays and debadging :)

My brother's company does all the computer work for a company called "Tint Master"...He said he can get me the tint at cost. Any other suggestions? I was looking on ebay and came across glow gauges. Anyone know if those will work in a 5 speed, 2000 SE car?

I saw some pictures of the interiors of some peoples cars... and it's all lit up inside. Where your feet go, in the air vent, it's all red. Is that expensive/hard for DIY?

um...besides money....basic cheap mods, de-badge/overlays, grills, tint, paint brake calipers, neon lighting, list goes on

tint at cost isnt that much of a savings... the labor is whats going to kill it.

rims, coat of wax or 2, polish the wheels if they are polishable, make sure the inside is nice and clean....

painting your interior is cheap.. an eyebrow for your windshield is pretty cheap too. u could even get some pinstripes if u give your car a color theme.
