OhioRides.org End of Year Bash

Yes you have heard right! The end of the year bash will be held Sunday (car night) the 6th Of November. Mark your calendars as this will be the last meet for the year. Your Last chance to become a full member before roughly March/April 2006. You have been wondering if we were going to have one last meet well here it is.

Sunday is car day at the Lube so I figure we will set up at Quaker Stake and Lube on Polaris Parkway in Westerville. Address is as follows:

I will have club decals and shirts made up for sale if you still have not had a chance to purchase yours yet. I will have free Meguiar's NXT wax for the taking and I may have other goodies but it is still in the works.

I am thinking the Meet will be held at roughly 3PM and end when it ends. not sure if there is a better spot to end up at but I am going to talk with Wal-Mart about putting on a show as they have done in the past. Though I might can get my dad to lend us space at the Mall. Nothing big is planned yet as I have been trying to work out details with other sites.

Well, today is the big day with 40 people registered to come from our site. two on here are a maybe, 14 on GoClubGP, 7 on Ohio F-bod, 6 on the S-10 forums.... we have well over a 55 person attendance list. if everyone shows it could be about a 70+ person gathering though I do not expect it to be.

Huge Turnout with 72 heads at the meet. 49 cars in our group alone which was cool. Looks like most everyone who said they would be there came! Thanks for all your support and making this one go down in the books.

With 18 members from GoClubGP it turned out nice. Thanks to the long haulers from all over. PA. people to the Cleveland, Dayton, Cincy and outskirts of Ohio. Also Thanks for showing your support and wearing the OR.org shirts if you had them. They looked real good on as a group.

Had a real fun time. Got to meet a lot of new people if only for a brief time... Went from the show to Dave And Busters which was also a lot of fun, getting home around 10:15 ish. Again, you guys really made the OR staff proud with this great turnout! We should all push the envelope and recruit friends and family with nice cars. Get them to go to this thing and we really could make it into a bash.

I didn't get to give out my raffle stuff which was the two Meguiar's $50 gift sets plus the Jasper gear. Maybe next time we can organize that portion a little better, but I will have it with me.

If you are not a full member yet, went to the meet, and would like to be voted on/in please let us know on here or send a PM to one of the Mod/Admin staff including myself. Though we will all see it if posted on here.

its cool. Whenever you have a chacne you can send them to me. I will put them with my stuff till they are given out. I really appreciate the offer and its ok. there will always be next year. It seems that this will grow because you can see all the people that missed out are really upset so i don't think most of them will let that happen again.
