Well, I am kind of new to this whole car scene, and I don't know if it is a stupid question or what not.

Is it possible to put a larger engine into a 1999 Grand AM GT? I just want more power for the car. I have thought about what all else I can do, Turbo, Cool Air Intake, Nitrousm etc. I just thought it would be a good idea to start out with a bigger engine and work on that. If it is possible, any suggestions on what I should do?

Yes, it is possible to put a 3800 SC motor into a 1999 GA. It might cost more than your willing to spend though. I would not recommend it. I would say save that money for a sports car, in stead of waste it on that swap.

haha...anything is possible with enough money, heck you could follow the AED car and put in a 350, supercharge it and make it rear wheel drive

theres a red 99+ that has done this swap(the 3800 w/SC). It wouldn't cost very much if you went to a junkyard for parts. The hardest and longest part of the swap that I have come to find is getting the electronics to work together but the guy ended up getting it to work

Well thanks for all the replies and off topic stuff. It's kool though. I decided I'll just gat another car. I'll stay with Pontiac still, and just get the awesome GTO!! woohoo!
