Note that if you have the 60/40 split folding rear, you don't have to remove the seatbacks or belts to take off the upper panel to get to the 6x9s. It is a lot more difficult to do without taking off the seats but it definitely is possible--I've done it twice.
PS: My recommendation is that when you take out the 6x9s, do not replace them with anything. Just put the parcel shelf cover back on and run a subwoofer (or two) in the trunk. This is unless the sound for the rear passengers is important in any way--then you might want to keep the rear speakers.
